The Spanish Chair is masterly interpretation of a traditional type of chair found in Spain's medieval furniture. Mogensen modernised the design in 1958, and retained the important broad armrests that give the chair character and provide a practical place to put a glass or cup.
Comprised of solid wood, metal buckles, and saddle leather. Mogensen combined this notion with his earlier works and signature functionalism.
