Inspired by Hans Wegner’s original 1951 design, this sofa is an icon of Danish mid-century modern furniture design. Getting its name from the armrests which were referred to as “great bear paws” that reach from behind and embrace the sitter, this sofa will surround you with comfort. Solid walnut dowel legs provide sturdy support while contributing to the classic mid-century modern look. High density foam cushioning is upholstered in plush cashmere-blend fabric that makes sitting in this loveseat feel like a dream. Biscuit tufting along the back adds to the comfort. Often called one of the most comfortable sofas ever made, the playful and organic design of this sofa will bring comfort and style to any modern space. Available in wheat and rose.
